I'm thankful there wasn't any social media when my 2yr old brother went missing for 11 hours after he took off after kittens into the woods. My mom was severely abusive to me & I saw him take off & my mom was talking to someone so I gently tugged on her to tell her. When she finally asked what I wanted cause I was crying he was very lost. I heard the cop tell my step dad a guy tripped over him while he was sleeping & we were lucky he was found. I'm sure I'd be blamed at 7yrs old too for being deathly afraid of my mom & not yelling to my mom.
